So remember those guys I told you about who sometimes get me to case a joint, get deets and go back to them? Well, they took me on a job yesterday.

They wanted to get some equipment from this lab, right? To sell it on or something and my job was to just keep a look out and disable the alarm. And it was like one of those fancy clinics where they do like sleep studies and all that bullshit, you know the ones?

Yes, I know about sleep clinics. I've no idea what could be so useful to steal at one of those, but whatever.

Well it's not just for sleep, it's for all kinds of drug trials and blood donations and all that weird stuff. I don't know what they wanted but long story short, they didn't get it. I sort of distracted them.

Cause see I went further than they wanted me too because I was kind of bored and looking around and I went into this side lab, right and I found this whole closed off room just full of scary chemicals, weird stuff and rats.

Lots and lots of rats.

So you stole a lot of rats?

I unleashed a lot of rats mostly because I couldn't take them all. They were being experimented on! Some were hurt. I carried those ones.

And then the guys I was with joined in and started helping to get the rats out and they forgot about actually stealing shit so long story short, I think we stopped being thieves and become eco-terrorists.

Also now James' is just full of the ones I wanted to save so

Yes, I still want rats. They said I could have pets in my new place that I don't dare to ask you about whether it will be our place.

I like this one. Can we keep him? I think it's a him. He's so tiny and he needs me. He has patches of fur missing :(

It can be our place. Why can't it be? I want it to be. You just don't believe me when I say it now and I don't blame you. Still sucks though.

It's not easy to talk to you about it when I don't know whether that will just mean I won't hear from you again for hours.

That rat does look adorable. Just be careful about getting too attached, lab rats often don't live long. But I can have a look when I get back.

It's not about not forgiving you, it's about not upsetting you. I want to move in with you and I don't want to make you try to leave me instead.

I won't. I'll move in with you, it'd be nice to have a proper place and I got no shit to actually move so it won't take long. I want to do this, Hart. I just had a weak moment.

They're cute so come here and play with them. Also James is scared of rats so we so need somewhere else to stash them.

Erm, twenty... but I found some people willing to take some? Normal safe people not in this building, don't worry. Some are kinda sick too so I don't know if they'll last but I let them nap on our bed.

I'm unsure, because I don't know if you'll just bolt again in one way or another. I am sure that I want to live with you.

We can keep the sick ones. I can maybe help them a little bit. But rats need a lot of space, just so you know. I looked into making rat cages before.

I won't. I had a moment of panic, I get those sometimes. When things look like they could work out. I ran away a lot of as a kid too. I'm working on it. I don't want to blow this, you're the best thing in my crappy life.

The cage they had them in was so cramped, I'm mostly letting them roam free now cause the cage I used to move them sucks. James is gonna kill me.

James really is. You can only hope that I get there before he does. I'm still on the bus.

I can't go faster, I'm on a bus and I can't make the bus go faster. Well. i could, technically, but I doubt it'd be appreciated if I fiddle with the motor.

It's not big, but it has an actual bed, so it wins.

They can mostly eat whatever you eat, just easy on the sugar and everything else that seems dodgy.

I forgot to take pictures of the bathroom, since I'm an idiot, but there's an actual tub in there. The house has a washer/dryer room and a gym, apparently. It's pretty new, so, small, but nice? It smells clean.

I feel like simba on pride rock and these are my little ratty subjects. They're all watching and waiting.

I'm excited. Honestly. It's going to be so cool. I'll have to get a legit job and then we can decorate it!
