Is James there? I'm buzzing and no one is letting me in. If it's just you, don't get up, I'll break in.

Hartley did get up to let Axel in, because he wasn't an idiot. He waited by the open door until Axel came up the stairs, smiling, although he didn't reach out to touch him. Not advisable after work, he knew that much. "Hey."

"Hey beautiful, I will kiss you in just a second." Axel grinned and looked him over but no, he didn't touch him. He wasn't about touch his boyfriend with his hands after where they'd been and he wasn't about to kiss him after what he'd have in his mouth. Axel wasted no time, he hauled off his shirt and threw it aside, making his way to the bathroom. "You can always watch me shower if you wanna but otherwise, get your ass back on that couch and I'll be over with love any minute now."

"I'll get my ass on the couch, I'm still dizzy from the meds James gave me." Hartley closed the door and made his way back to the couch, letting himself fall down on it. He tried to get as comfortable as he could and waited for Axel, wishing he'd thought to take his notes or something else to read while he'd been up. Eh, whatever, Axel would be out soon. He could try to make him forget some of the day. Make them both forget.

Axel took a while in the shower but he always did after clients, especially some that liked to get themselves just all over him. He did, however, sing loud enough that Hartley knew he was alive and would probably at least score a smile. He came back out with only a towel wrapped around him, his clothes all crammed into the dryer. "I need to borrow some of James' stuff. Just what I need, that middle of the road look always clashes with me." Their styles could not be more different. Axel came over to Hartley and kissed him, tasting as minty fresh as expected.

Hartley sat up enough to kiss back properly, smiling and running his fingers through Axel's wet hair. "You're trying to use your singing against me. Not fair, I don't approve, stop it immediately." That said he kissed him again, luckily too sore to actually want anything but the comfort of being close. "I love you." Time to say it again under less dire circumstances.

"No, never. I know it gets you going so I'm never going to stop." Axel kissed Hartley again. He paused and frowned, cocking his head to the side as he took in that sentiment again. Love? Weird. "Sure, I love you too." He smiled for lack of anything else to do then moved off towards the bedroom, dropping the towel just so Hartley could see his perfect ass in all it's glory as he walked away. He kept talking, even as he raided James' dire wardrobe. "Isn't love just something you put in a greeting card? You don't have to keep saying it, I got it the first time."

"I don't know. I can't afford greeting cards." Hartley shrugged, not really surprised by Axel's reaction. Not exactly in touch with his feelings, his lover, in spite of how he might appear to the casual observer. But he had one glorious ass and he was beautiful on the inside, even if he wasn't that aware of it himself. "Don't worry. I don't plan on wearing it out."

When Axel came back, he was wearing James' clothes and not, they didn't overly suit him. Well, the yellow hoodie wasn't bad, they both rocked yellow pretty well surprisingly. He came over and lifted Hartley up a little so he could slid in, setting the other's head back down in his lap and idly playing with his head. "You'll feel better soon and when you do, I'll reward you for being so brave and heroic."
