"Well, we have skype and all that. Plus, we can use Barry as a carrier pigeon until he catches on." Hartley smiled, seriously considering it now. He ended up with a handful of fries and his head resting against Cisco's chest. "You'd call me back if you needed me, yeah?"
He didn't really doubt that. Cisco never hesitated with asking for help. "I need to learn where the limits to this power are. If there are any. I think I also need to learn to be less afraid of using it. I should have used it against Cold."
"I support you, dude. Go learn, go train, I'll wait right here for you and I'll have your back. I promise. If we get in a jam, I'll call you. Just, you know, take lots of pictures. And give them my card." Not that he had a card yet but he'd make a card and maybe they could all come for sewing help and that'd just be so awesome!
"Hey, there's never a pressure to use your powers. Either you want to or you don't. They're pretty intense, no one blames you. Mostly people blame me right now."
"I know, but... Yeah, they are intense. But if your plan hadn't worked, somebody else could be dead and I could have stopped that. That's why I want to learn. I know I'm not responsible for everything that I can't prevent, but I'd have the chance to prevent a lot. It just feels as if I ought to try."
Hartley smiled and kissed Cisco's cheek. "Make me a costume and gear and everyone will want your card. Which reminds me..."
Hartley sat up and pulled his flute out of the other bag, also eating a bit of lettuce while at it. He handed it to Cisco. "What do you think?"
"It's going to be okay. Go, train, you'll come back and it'll never happen again. No more fear. And for my part, I'll stop making deadly weapons for super villains." Cisco grinned as he pulled himself upright, taking the flute off Haetley so he could look at it, clearly impressed by the tech and taking a little while to study and play around.
"That is so cool! Dude, this is the best. You made this?" He reluctantly handed it back and then leaned over to make some quick notes. "I have so many ideas for holsters now. I so need to break out the sewing machine."
