"That's okay. I wouldn't want you to, not like this." Lisa frowned and petted Rawry again, since clearly he was still in need of more love too. "Come on, Cisco. I'll let you invite me to some coffee. I think you desperately need some fresh air. What do you say?" She smiled and then simply took his hand, already tugging him along. "Jitters is still open, yes?"

"Erm, well-- wait, what? You want to go for coffee?" Like coffee as in coffee or coffee as in coffee because he wasn't dressed for coffee and also he only had a few bucks and -- wait, his pokemon! They were loose in the lab. "Wait, no, they'll chew everything. Just let me herd my pokemon and then yeah, I mean, if you want to? Coffee. I can do that." He knew he was a guy and he should be all manly about this but in his mental diary, his entry was already omg Lisa Snart wants to have coffee with me!!!

"I can have one of mine watch them, if you'd rather." Lisa already reached for a pokéball, releasing her Ninetales into the lab. Majestic and beautiful, with the blue tint to the tips of her tales making her stand out even more. Once upon a time, a tiny little Vulpix had been the first pokémon she'd ever gotten, gifted to her by Mick. Now that it was an almost legendary looking Ninetales, the name "Kitty" seemed a lot less appropriate, but she wouldn't dream of changing it.

"You can look after Cisco's pokémon while he takes me out, yes, Kitty?"

Oh yeah, what a cool pokemon, whatever. He was so done with all these show offs and their cool, badass pokemon while all of his feared evolution and being cool. "Are you sure you want to do that?" His could be a handful. Sneezy had already appeared from nowhere to try and climb the beautiful pokemon. "No! Bad!" Cisco warned as he looked at all the pokemon he owned that he could see. "Be good, I'll be back soon. No climbing on the Ninetales. If you're not good, no one gets Big Belly Burger tonight."

There. That should do it. "Come on, let's bounce."

"That's fine. She's dealt with worse." Lisa had full confidence in Kitty's abilities, as a babysitter or as the destroyer of worlds. She chuckled and walked out of the lab, still holding on to Cisco's hands as if that was an everyday occurrence. "So, what has you so grumpy? I'm not used to that. Usually I get either a blush or a greeting. Sometimes even both. And I haven't messed with you in so long, so it can't be anything I did. I'm innocent."

Oh God. Ooooh God. They were holding hands. Two hands. Together. This was not a drill! Cisco blushed furiously and tried his best to pretend he wasn't. He had to stay cool, look cool, just generally be cool. A big challenge for a dork like him. "I'm not grumpy. I'm just ... things are complicated right now." He had no idea what to do, who to trust and he mostly just wanted to block everyone out and pretend this stuff wasn't happening.

"Then think about something else," Lisa suggested, "Something not complicated." To give him something, she suddenly stopped walking, turned Cisco around, pushed him back against the building's wall and kissed him, softly, right on the lips. "Think about this."

Surely that was much less complicated. With a wink she pulled back, walking down the street and waving to Cisco to follow her. "And we can discuss my new gym. See, I've been thinking about moving it to this city. What do you think? Lenny wants me in the Elite 4, but who wants to be that close to their big brother?"

Cisco was sort of rendered mute by the kiss and he had no idea what to do now so he just followed behind her, dumb and excited, unsure if this meant anything and mostly kind of terrified that somehow Leonard Snart would burst out and yell at him for kissing his sister. Which, to be fair, could happen. Leonard Snart was lurking everywhere. Always.

He snapped out of it enough to try and answer the question. "I-I could do your gym. Just give me some specs and I'll see what I can do." The Elite 4, God damn. She was so amazing. "You should go for it though, brother or not."

"Sure, I could, but having my own gym gives me a lot more freedom, you know? Mick can do the Elite 4 things, Mark is doing a good job there too, so are the others and Len is an okay champion, I suppose. But with a gym, I'm in charge." And she did love being in charge. "And together with you, we could make it the best gym in the region, don't you think? What do you think of El Dorado as a theme?"

"I thought Mick wanted to retire." Just a little bit of gossip that had been flying around, no one knew if there was any truth to it and when Cisco hinted at it with Leonard, he'd just gotten a look that made Cisco hurry back to work to try and pretend he didn't see the look. "I guess there's always someone to take their place, that's how this stuff works." Turn over was always pretty high. "Ooh El Dorado? So like gold everywhere? Oh yeah. I can rock that."

"That's between them." Lisa shrugged her shoulders. "Mick might, but I know Lenny doesn't plan to and I don't know. I never like them apart." With a frown, she pushed those thoughts away and smiled at Cisco instead. "I think you could. I have a pretty open budget, so we can make sure there's no gym better than ours." Apparently it was their gym now. "You wouldn't mind if we lived in the same city, would you?"

"...Woah, wait, slow down. What? No. Dude, no. I mean yes, live here but ... but I have a job and I can't really leave it. And I can't run a gym or be associated with a gym. I wouldn't want to. Everyone would laugh at me. I've had nightmares about that since I was eight. Usually I'm in my underwear being destroyed publicly by someone with a zubat and a pidgey." It was a very specific nightmare but hell, it could be real one day and that was a fear he was not going to live down. "And you know what? Not unlikely given my team. If anyone challenged me, it'd be humiliate to both of us. I can like... visit? And hang out. It can't have my name on it. Besides, since we accidentally flooded that lake and all, the Ramon name carries a lot of bad press." As did STAR labs.

"Oh, Cisco. You could never be a gym leader, don't worry about that. I meant, you will help me build it, so that makes it ours, don't you think?" Lisa smiled and wrapped an arm around Cisco, kissing his cheek. "But I definitely want you to visit. That's why I want it to be in this city, silly. So you can go do important science work and then visit me and be in awe."

But that part about the lake was also noteworthy. "Do you know what happened at the lake yet? Lenny told me about it. I have a magikarp, I never want him to evolve. My beautiful, golden, useless fish. I wonder what made them all evolve at the lake."

"I guess." No one had ever given Cisco that much credit for anything, not even Wells. It was kind of weird to have someone call it his too. Maybe it was a humiliation tactic. Caitlin always said to not trust Lisa - then she appeared and was beautiful and it was impossible to say no. It was a little annoying but that was life, he was unable to say no to pretty people. Pretty, dangerous people.

"What?" Oh. Shit. He shouldn't have said that lake stuff. Cisco shrugged and looked away from her. "I don't know, not specifically. We don't have deets and we're mostly in damage control mode. Wells has a plan to sort it so honestly, don't worry."

"You are so tense right now." Lisa definitely noted it - it was fairly obvious. "You don't have a girlfriend and are just too scared to tell me, do you?" Because if he did, she'd go and find that bitch.

Wait. No. Maybe not. "I saw you first."

He was tense because of work, because of what Wells may or may not be doing, because Hartley kept appearing to judge him. He was tense because he didn't trust the man he was supposed to and he had no idea what to do. And he couldn't tell a Snart. Besides, it could be a misunderstanding and she'd run off and tell Mick and Len. And then what? He'd be fired!

"What? No. God. No. I mean I've tried but-- not about that. It's just work stress." God, he wished he had an imaginary girlfriend though. Well. No. Real actually. "Why? ... We're not dating so why do you care?"

"Hm. What do people do when they are dating, Cisco?" It was the dumb blonde act as she asked him with big eyes, only she was neither dumb nor blonde. Just trying to make it work in spite of that. "I haven't dated in a while, catch me up."

"I don't know, I guess you sort of hold hands and go out together. Sometimes you order food in and chill, just watch netflix or get it on. And kiss, you kn--" Oh. Wait. They had already done like over half of this list. Cisco squinted then very slowly looked down at their hands entwined. Waaaaait.

"We can order in food tonight," Lisa suggested with a smirk, flipping her hair. She watched her really dumb and slow genius and let out a laugh. "You look like you've seen a ghost, Cisco. No wonder you missed out one month anniversary."

"What?!"

Oh God, someone could have told him he was dating Lisa. Like, you know, Lisa! Cisco rolled his eyes and shook his head, lowering it a little. "You really could have given me a heads up, you know? Usually when you make out with me, it's some cunning trap to steal poketech."

"Can't it be both?" Lisa smiled and leaned in, letting go of Cisco to wrap an arm around him instead. She held up Cisco's phone and turned to kiss his cheek for a cute selfie, then she set about making it Cisco's screensaver. "There, see?" Returning his phone, she reached for his hand again. "Now, what will we watch tonight?"

"Woah." This didn't overly seem real. He kept looking at his screensaver. So much so that he just casually walked into the advertisement sign for Jitters and got a little tangled in it. Once he freed his leg from that death trap, he smiled sheepishly and shrugged his shoulders. What was a good first date film - or maybe thirtieth date apparently. "Wanna watch Princess Bride?"

"As you wish," Lisa told him, helping him get free completely and then heading inside the coffee shop, glad that he finally seemed a little less grumpy. That was it, Leonard definitely wasn't allowed to mess with him again. "Now we have a lot of catching up to do, don't you think? So much kissing, so little time."

"Oh ye--I mean, like, you know. Whatever floats your boat, babe. You can make out with my face... area whenever." Cisco tried to shrug and look cool but whatever just came out of his mouth wasn't so yeah, no, this was not happening. "I'm going to go get you some coffee." Cisco pointed at the line and contently joined it, not before sending out a message on his whatsapp group with Barry and Caitlin that he had a girlfriend.

"Just the face area or can I make out with you all over?" Lisa asked innocently as she sat down on a chair, watching her now boyfriend with a lot of amusement. He was none too subtle in texting his friends, but she definitely couldn't blame him. It was fun and she planned on informing her dearest as soon as possible as well. Mostly Axel. Which she did, right away.
