"Doesn't really change that you kicked your best friend out without warning, just because he turned you on. That's harsh." Len decided that, yes, at least this was amusing. It wasn't as if he had that good a track record when it came to not bailing out of situations like that, but at least he'd never been this bad.

"I'm aware but it happened and we made up. We were fine. Then Wells happened." Creepy son of a bitch. "And I know that sometimes I lie and all but he legitimately didn't believe me. Not a single thing I said. Am I that untrustworthy? Did I hurt him that much that he can't even believe me when I tell him the truth?" James huffed a little and leaned back in his chair, wishing he knew how to reach Hartley, wishing he was less hurt and upset. Maybe he could talk to him and warn him away.
"I don't have much time around women." Which was kind of true. "I used to have a bit of a thing for the bearded lady." ... Wait, that wasn't helping his case much.
"If that Wells person is as much of a creep as he says, who knows what else he's told him? I don't know. Just knock your friend out and tie him to a chair somewhere until he stops letting a creep use him." What? Seemed like a sensible approach to him. He'd certainly do similar things to keep Mick from hurting himself.
"Right. You should just head out with Mick sometimes. He's good with women."
"Nah, that's make me a creep and then he'd hate me even more. I'll just wait. And when he comes crawling back I'll be all 'no way, you had your chance' and that'll really show him." Show him what? James had no idea. He got to his feet and shoved his hands in his pockets, sensing that Leonard wasn't going to offer him much more help outside of that. Goodie.
"Maybe I will. Me and the Mickster, hitting up the ladies. Lock up your daughters and all of that." He could so pull a girl. Maybe he would. That'd show Snart what's what.
"Yes. You go do that, this won't be ready for another night. Tell Mick that his drinks are on me." Len looked up again, raising his eyebrows. "I don't have a daughter, but if you touch my sister, you're dead."
Hey, as far as he knew Lisa wasn't even in town, but that was beside the fact. He knew when to be draw his lines.
"I won't. Promise." Maybe? He had no idea who was Leonard's sister but he felt pretty confident he wouldn't take her home. Mostly because he'd never taken a girl home or even so much as been with a girl. Hey, he'd be the first to admit it, he wasn't good with girls. He could charm them, he could flirt but when it got close to something real, he bailed. He always bailed.
"Sure you will." With talk like that, at least less likely. But James was handsome and could be charming, so why not? Apart from the fact how he was obviously just hung up on one guy, who was somewhere across town getting fucked by the man that had framed James. No wonder Mick was so entertained by this.
