Hartley took a step back before he could think better of it, looking at the ground to avoid looking at James. His chest hurt just being here and he hated that. He pulled his hand out of his jacket, holding the list. Hartley wished he could get the stuff himself, but he had never learned to be a thief. He couldn't wait until he got skilful enough.
