Barry Allen? Right. Hartley did of course know that Barry was in jail right now, hard as it was to reconcile with the Barry he had known before Barry had started distancing himself from him entirely, but somehow he hadn't really made the connection that far. He hadn't thought about Barry interacting with Axel. That had to be interesting.

"Well, I hope he doesn't hurt you for kidnapping his dad. Or for talking at him." He wondered briefly whether Barry could maybe make an actual connection with Axel, because Axel would need an influence like Barry, a real hero, more than anything. But he knew how black and white Barry was when it came to friendship better than most, so it seemed unlikely.
